On my third day in Tanzania, I finally saw Mt. Kilimanjaro! Our hotel, the Mountain Inn, is easily within sight of the mountain, but clouds obscured the peak. At 19,341 feet, it's the tallest mountain on the continent of Africa.
In the meantime we visited a residential center for street children and a day care center, and hiked to a waterfall. We also saw a demonstration by a hillside organic farmer of how he produces coffee from beans to cup.
